Adams Flea Spray

I need help with a flea problem !!!!!?

I have a dog 12 years of age of birds is out. It is covered with fleas. We tried seven dust, shampoo adams, sprayed the yard and even put motor oil in it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Please help. We're going on vacation on Sunday and I can not leave it.

I do not like sprays conditioners and dust a lot. First, are annoying to implement, and (in my opinion) bad smell. There is also an effective rate of hit and miss. They are less expensive than some methods, but I'd like to think that life without fleas worth the few extra dollars! There are plenty of products out there to get rid of fleas. Some are wonderful, and some (as found) are not. There are lots of wonderful and highly effective products that can be purchased at the vet. Some of these are quite expensive and cover a wide range of internal and external parasites. My animals are all in a product called Revolution (selamectin). Do not just get rid of ticks and fleas, but also a preventative treatment for fleas (adults and eggs), sarcoptic mites, ear mites, heartworm and many intestinal parasites. It is also a very safe product to use. However, you will need a blood test for heartworms first (it costs around $ 40). If you are looking for something a little less expensive but very effective, I would go for Advantage (which prevents fleas only.) It is a few drops of liquid is applied monthly to the back of the neck of the animal (very easy to do!). Most veterinarians do not require the animal enters, but usually only to obtain an accurate weight (costs nothing). Once the animals are in advantage of using every month, then your flea problem should virtually disappear! I would also like to make a note on the garlic. Whenever people ask questions like yours, there are always some people who advise you to put a little garlic in the food your pet every day to keep fleas out. PLEASE do not. It may work a little (do not know for sure) but I do know is that garlic is toxic for dogs. A little should not hurt, but some are more sensitive than others, so do not think it's a good practice at all. I know you never take chances and to the health of my dog!
