In the past, I tried other natural forms of flea and tick control natural diatomaceous earth, garlic, Borax, flea collars, pyrethrum, pennyroyal, etc.. They work and most of them were problematic. After using the diatomaceous earth my lungs burned for two days. Borax created a unpleasant odor and mess around the house too. Big cedar oil, although the works. Bugs run like hell!
